Sycamore Programme - What People have to say.

We reached the end of the second ten sessions of the Sycamore Programme in our parish before Easter, and it has been a truly uplifting experience. We have been delighted not only with the level of participation, but especially with how much those who attended enjoyed and valued the course.

Participants shared very positive reflections on their experiences. One person said, “The Sycamore Program has strengthened my faith. I attended on my own, knew nobody. But was made feel so welcome, and met such beautiful, kind, warm welcoming people. Strongly recommend to everyone.” Another reflected that “The Sycamore videos encourage spiritual reflection without any hint or sense of pressure. The discussions after each video allow for and facilitate open honest expression of views which support the participants in a communal sense.”

When asked if the Sycamore Course had helped in anyway, one person answered “Greatly – It answered a lot of my questions on basic aspects of faith. Also with the Catechism references it gave me a deeper understanding of Catholic Teachings.” One particularly touching comment simply said, “It brought me back to church.” While another described the Sycamore Programme as “Liturgy of the Word “in light of the signs of the times”

The good news is that there is much more to come. If you missed the Sycamore programme this time around, don’t worry. We will be running more of the Sessions later in the year. Details to follow.
