We invite parishioners to return Trócaire Boxes to the Church on Holy Thursday. The Collection on Holy Thursday will be for the work of Trócaire. Please do not leave Boxes unattended in the Church. Envelopes now available in the Churches if you wish to make a donation in this way.
Trócaire Lenten Appeal this year will focus on Rwanda. It is a small country half the size of lreland, with a much larger population around 13 million people Rwanda’s population is built on farming small plots of land. The country endures regular drought, floods, pests, and diseases. Please take a Trócaire Box for your home and perhaps give one to family members of neighbours, every little helps a lot, you can do your bit for alleviation of hunger.
