We pray that this will be a good year and that
all may grow in wisdom and communal sharing. We pray in particular for infants beginning their school journey. We pray for those who have left school and continue
their education at a higher level, particularly our Leaving Cert Student.
Back to School Prayer
Dear Lord as our students begin a new school year, we pray that you will keep them in your care.
Send your Holy Spirit to open their minds to all that is true, beautiful and good. Help them to see the
gifts and talents you have given them and use them well. Help them to grow in knowledge and wisdom, to be kind to others. Open their young hearts to your presence and hold them in the palm of
your hand and bring them home safely at days end. Amen
