Canonisation of Carlo Acutis
The Holy Father Pope Leo XIV has announced that London-born Blessed Carlo Acutis will be canonised on 7 September alongside Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Carlo Acutis, was a remarkable young witness to the faith, who used his computer skills to spread the Catholic faith. Carlo, nicknamed as God’s influencer, has developed a strong following among young Catholics and beyond. Youth Programme
Parish Youth Programme Launch!
We are excited to announce that our new Parish Youth Programme will begin this September. As part of this initiative, a Parish Youth Team will be working with our Pastoral Care Worker to support young people in their journey of faith.
Launch Night: Friday 3rd October
Time: 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Location: Pastoral Centre
To begin, we will be running the Alpha Youth Series — a fun and engaging way to explore life, faith, and meaning. Each session focuses on one main topic, encouraging conversation and helping us grow together.
If you are aged 14–18, we would love for you to come along. Bring a friend, share some fun, and see what it’s all about.
This is just the beginning. The Parish Youth Group will be a place of faith, fun, and fellowship — a safe and supportive space to connect with others and grow in faith.
